What are some good acoustic guitar strings?
I have a Fender CD 60 Dreadnought acoustic guitar and i need new strings. I was wonder what are some really good brands.

I have some strings i found they weren't in a pack and i'm not sure if they are Acoustic strings or Electric strings, they are thicker then the ones on my Gibson Les Paul but they are silver i'm not sure if Acoustic strings can be silver, Do they have to be bronze to be Acoustic or can they be silver?is ther any sure diffrence between Acoustic strings and Electric strings?

one of the steel strings snapped on my acoustic and this is my first guitar so i have no idea what to do... could i just take it to the music shop and they'll fix it for me? for free? i could just take my guitar to school and have my teacher fix it but then i would have to bring it with me for the entire day and mind you i live FAR from school haha
